England do have injury concerns over Chris Woakes, Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali, all of whom sat out the final ODI against South Africa mainly as a precaution, but Morgan expects all three to be fit to play. Jason Roy's lack of runs at the top of the order in recent times is a concern but he is likely, despite the claims of Jonny Bairstow, to remain in the side for now as England look to him to rediscover his destructive best. The bowling attack will be led by Woakes, Mark Wood, fresh from his last over heroics at the Ageas Bowl, and Liam Plunkett with Adil Rashid, who has taken ten wickets in three ODIs against Bangladesh, with Ali providing the spin.

Bangladesh's seam attack has plenty of potential to cause England some problems with the swing of Mortaza, the left-arm angle of Mustafizur Rahman and the pace of Rubel Hossain being the likely three starters - although Taskin Ahmed could also be considered - which will pose a variety of different challenges to the batsmen. Bangladesh's spin will come from Shakib Al Hasan's left-armers and Mehedi Hasan's off-spin, both of whom tormented England on their tour last year. Tamin Iqbal, who is averaging over 50 in ODI cricket over the past two years, and Soumya Sarkar at the top of have an important role to play in getting the Bangladeshi's off to a flier with the bat and provide a platform for the strong middle order of Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib, Mahmudullah and Mosaddek Hossain.
